JEE Physics Formulas ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our physics formula reference application for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination).

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers (beyond what ad networks may use)
• User account information (no accounts are required to use the app)
• Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics is included but collects only anonymous, aggregated data)
• Study progress data (bookmarks are stored locally only)

Information Stored Locally

The App stores the following data only on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and a local database (SQLite):

• Formulas you have bookmarked for quick access.
• App settings or preferences.
• Premium purchase status (a simple boolean flag to indicate if premium is unlocked).

This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is not transmitted to any server.
• Is not accessible to the developer.
• Is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Removable by upgrading to Premium)

The free version of the App displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized ads. This may include:

• Device advertising identifiers
• IP address
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
• General device information (e.g., OS version, screen size)

AdMob's data collection is governed by:

• Google Privacy Policy

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's settings (usually under Settings → Google → Ads).

Upgrading to Premium removes all ads and stops data collection by AdMob within the App.

Firebase (Anonymous Analytics)

The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand basic, anonymous usage patterns (e.g., which features are most popular, app stability). Firebase may collect:

• Anonymous app instance identifiers.
• Country-level location (not precise GPS location).
• App version information.
• Crash reports (anonymous stack traces).

No personal data is collected or transmitted through Firebase. This helps us improve the app without compromising your privacy.

Permissions Required

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET: Required to load advertisements (in the free version) and to validate premium purchases with the Google Play Store.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check for an active internet connection before making network requests.
• com.android.vending.BILLING: Required to handle in-app purchases through the Google Play Store.

The App does NOT request permissions for Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Phone/SMS, Precise Location, or External Storage.

Premium Purchases

Premium purchases (a one-time unlock for ₹49) are processed securely through the Google Play Store's In-App Billing system. Google handles all payment processing. The App does not see, handle, or store any credit card information.

The App only stores a simple boolean value on your device to confirm that your purchase has been validated by Google, which is used to unlock the premium features.

Data Security

• All local data is stored securely using Android's standard application storage.
• No user data is transmitted over the network, except for the anonymous data collected by the third-party services listed above.
• The App uses HTTPS for all network requests (ads, Firebase, Google Play Billing).

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for students preparing for the JEE exam, who are typically over the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

Your Rights

Since the App does not collect personal data from you, there is no data for you to access, correct, or delete from our servers. You have complete control over the data on your device. You can clear all data (bookmarks, premium status) by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We will also notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
